The Screaming Ocie

Logo design I did for a Mexican Restaurant brand : El Ocelote Que Grita, which translates to "The Screaming Ocelot" - the locals refer to it as the Screaming Ocie. Their cuisine is centered around authentic Mexican foods, with an emphasis on heat and spice - which will be sure to leave you screaming!

The ocelot influence stems from the culture's wide love and respect, and oftentimes, worship, of big wild cats - particularly the ocelot and the jaguar. The ocelot was chosen to represent this brand due to it's emphasis on Mexican and Ancient Aztec culture.

The restaurant also donates a portion of it's profits every month towards deforestation efforts in Central America, which directly effects the Ocelot's (and countless other wildlife's) habitat.
